The set is full hallmarked with French poinçon sterling assay mark, maker mark, and stamped Hermès Paris. The set is in superb condition overall with signs of light wear. They can still be used with all lids functioning and sealed tight. Or simply to be used as a decorative set for the bedroom, dressing room or bathroom.

The quality throughout is exceptional. There is a consistent and thick gauge of silver used in each of the pieces. Each of the jars opens to reveal a gilt wash inside. This is done not only for aesthetic reasons, but also in order for what ever is placed inside does not tarnish the silver. Gold simply will not tarnish. The pieces in their own right are stunning, add the decorative hand-engraved heraldic crest adding another level of beauty and quality.
